Polmont today is quite a large locality in the Falkirk area with a considerable amount of post-war housing. The exact position of the distillery that bore the village’s name is unknown.

Polmont History

Polmont distillery was licensed to John Gibb in 1820/21. He died in 1822, after which distilling at the site never resumed.
