The Whiski Shop Profile
The Whiski Shop is the retail arm of The Whiski Rooms, a bar and bistro in Edinburgh with its own whisky store and tasting room. There is a sister venue, Whiski Bar and Restaurant, also in Edinburgh.
The shop stocks a large selection of Scotch and world whiskies, as well as other spirits, and offers exclusive own-label bottlings that are specially selected by staff members.
The Whiski Shop History
Husband-and-wife team Gary and Anne Still opened Whiski Bar and Restaurant in 2007 on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Following its success, a second venue – the Whiski Rooms – was opened in 2011 on the Mound near Edinburgh Castle.
The new establishment became a three-part concept consisting of a bar, a bistro and whisky shop with an adjacent tasting room.
